KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
We were on a mission to promote the KISS Radio Special on TNT Radio which will be aired June 4th in Holland celebrating the return of KISS to Europe and Holland June 18th at the Gelredome in Arnhem.

We arrived in London May 11th. At 7pm we attended the KISS Photo Exhibition of Denis O'Regan at the Apple Store (Regent Street). He gave a great presentation on shooting KISS ahead of their upcoming Wembley Shows. He lectured on how he works on the road and even had KISS sign all his photos that same afternoon. For more info: http://www.denis.co.uk

The next day we've explored the Wembley Stadium and Arena in the afternoon and then our mission began. Taking Down (Roadrunner Records), the Las Vegas band that opened for them got their Love Gun locked and loaded. Their debut album "Time To Burn" was released April 12th in Europe and you can catch them June 12th at the Download Festival. For more info: http://www.takingdown.com

At 9pm KISS enters the stage with the fantastic opener "Modern Day Delilah" (Sonic Boom) and they really know how to make a grand entrance this time with Gene, Tommy & Paul being lifted over Eric's drumkit.

MY GARAGE IS HOTTER THAN HELL!
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
Hi KISS Army!

Saw KISS on "In concert" in 1974 and was hooked ever since. When they re-united in 1996, I painstakingly painted this 12 foot square "Hotter Than Hell" album cover on the back of my garage for a pre-concert party I hosted. Needless to say, it was a hit, and has been a neighborhood attraction for a while!

Best,
PJH

CARD CORNER CLUB

By Doug Cataldo

One look at the band KISS and you can instantly see why they have dominated the music/entertainment scene for over 35 years. Driven by the talents and business acumen of Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, KISS has persevered when other bands faded into obscurity. Not only have they written rock anthems that have stood the test of time, but they set the bar for merchandising their brand better than any other musical act. Collectors of KISS memorabilia have many avenues to choose from -- magazines, guitar picks, comic books or trading cards to name a few. The trading card aspect has improved tremendously since Press Pass has been producing KISS cards. They've just unleashed their latest set, The Legend of KISS, and you can find a 24-pack box in stores now for about $50. That's about $2 per pack.

The band is already colorful, larger than life and they have a storied history, so capturing their legacy on cardboard seems like a no-brainer. As far back as 1978 the band has been part of the non-sports card scene. Through the years, many other companies have produced KISS card sets, but none fully captured the elements that are familiar to modern trading card collectors, including autographs and memorabilia. Press Pass has taken KISS card collecting to the next level, and with Legends of KISS they've reached a new pinnacle.

Subject: Live at the Glasgow SECC - 09/05/10
From: Irish Robbie on 05/14/2010

I have been a big fan of Kiss for the past 22 years, but have never had the opportunity to see you live, until 09 May's 2010 Glasgow show at the SECC. It was well worth the wait for this show, and I have never been as entertained in all my life. The show was pure fun to watch from start to finish, and it was great to see, and hear both the band, and fans give off so much energy, dedication, comittment and respect that you duely deserve. The night was simply just electric, and just when I thought the night could not get any hotter, the amount of fireworks and flames that shot up during most of the set made sure I had that warm feeling start to finish(I was standing right at the front near Gene's general position!). Paul was in fine voice. The band sounded tight, Tommy played brilliantly, Gene was amazing to watch, and was nice to finally see Eric playing live, commanding and directing everything from his drum risers, fantastic stage set. I could go on and on and review the songs and set list but I think many have already done that. I will just generally say the song choices were fantastic, both old and new material, and in many of them it allowed for much band/crowd interaction, and Paul had everyone ecstatic, eating out of the palm of his hand, and Glasgow SECC was in fine voice for the night. Kiss - The best and true entertainers you are, thankyou for a wonderful and most memorable experience, and thanks to everyone who went to the show, who also made this a night I will never forget.
