PAUL ATLANTA SHOW REVIEW
October 23, 2006
KISSONLINE.com Paul kicked off his LIVE TO WIN Tour yesterday in Atlanta with a tremendous performance that proved what we knew all along, Mr. Stanley doesn't need the makeup, bombs and fire to deliver an unforgettable show. Setting the tone with the opening track – “Live To Win”, Paul never looked backed as he and the ferocious ROCKSTAR House Band tore through a 19 song set list. The relentless power of the music and the intense non-stop connection with the audience in the packed theater made this a spectacle of a totally different kind. Performing songs from his entire career including tracks from both of his solo albums as well as KISS rarities - including the never before played “Magic Touch” and “A Million To One”, Paul played with a renewed intensity of a man on a mission. Possessed, dancing and prancing around the stage while never missing a beat. Vocally, Paul was as impressive as ever, especially on “I Still Love You”, “I Want You” and “Tonight You Belong To Me”. As roaring audiences at sold out show after sold out show will testify, Paul Stanley is only now in his prime while remaining the most underrated front man in Rock and Roll history.
