What is your very first KISS memory?

I remember being 7 years old and sitting on my living room floor watching Entertainment Tonight with my family. They showed a picture of Eric Carr up in the corner of the screen and said that the drummer from KISS had passed away. I had never even heard of KISS before then, I had no idea who they were, but I remember thinking to myself, (in a snotty little 7 year old voice,) 'So what, he wasn't even the original drummer.' I don't know why I thought that, or why I even remember it...but that is my very first KISS memory, that I can think of...although I didn't really find out about KISS until they made their appearence on the 1996 Grammy Awards. But that's another story.

What KISS song sends chills up your spine each time you hear it?

"God Gave Rock In Roll To You II"...for some reason this song always makes me feel very nastalgic. Like I said, I was 7 when Eric Carr died...at the end of the song, when Eric is harmonizing with Paul always makes me cry. Maybe it's the fact that it was Eric's last song ever recorded with KISS; maybe it's the longing for a time gone by. Maybe it's me missing something that was never really there. But the first time I heard it, I recognized it from what seemed like another lifetime before...unknowingly, this is one of the songs that has always been part of the soundtrack of my life. There's something about it that seems to capture a moment in time that I really and truly miss. It's a feeling that I can't explain.

What have you done to earn your strips in the KISS ARMY... how have you shown your support for KISS?

I've started my own fansite, *Ace Peter Eric Freaks*, I've defended KISS on numerous occasions, and I'm planning on getting a Catman tattoo on my left arm (like the one Peter Criss has) for my 19th birthday. I've also spent the last year on my life writing a fictional story inspired by KISS. Occassionally, when having my work published, I go by the pen name "Sherrie Criss," which I got from combining the title of my favorite Four Seasons' song with the last name of my favorite drummer. A lot of the things that I've written have been inspired by KISS.
