WWE WRESTLER DRESSES AS GENE
KOL LETTERS
KISS,

Was watching WWE's Pay Per View TLC (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) and WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio was wearing a mask and attire that had a striking resemblance to the Demon himself, Gene Simmons! Was totally losing interest in the event until I saw this! He even wore a wig that he removed prior to the match.

KISS is everywhere!

-Bret

If you watched the WWE TLC event last night, Rey Mysterio came in dressed as Gene! He had a Gene wig on and the makeup and the crowd went nuts. There was no explanation or anything why, but really, is any needed?

MONSTER BOOT WEDDING CAKE
KOL LETTERS
Here is a photo from my wedding... I have been a huge KISS fan since the age of 8 and it was only fitting to have my grooms' cake be KISS-themed. Since I planned on coming into the reception with my Gene boots on I decided it to be a Boot itself, complete with a Punisher Cake "bass."

I even danced to Gene's "When you wish upon a Star" with my mother.

KISS,

Greetings from Castleford in England! I was just browsing the channels on my TV when I stumbled across an episode of Stargate Atlantis which is when I spotted this guy who seemed to be sporting the Spaceman outline around his eyes... just proof that KISS is everywhere, even in sunny England! Rock On!

KISSIN' UK
Wishes 4 Kids is a charity based in Leicestershire, England which was created to grant a wish to terminally ill or disadvantaged children. Tonight in Hinckley a very special concert took place in conjunction with The Junior Academy Of Music to raise awareness of the charity and to help raise some money. As part of the concert a very cool KISS tribute took the stage and sang their own rendition of Crazy Crazy Nights.

One of the members of the band was a very special 10 year old called Luke. Luke suffers from cerebral palsy and yet with help from the Academy has learnt to hold a drumstick and keep a beat. As can be seen from the photos Luke had a blast playing Crazy Crazy Nights, even though he made it clear this isn't his favourite song (which happens to be Modern Day Delilah!). He comes from a family of KISS fans with both himself and his brother Matthew being "introduced" to them by their Dad (sounds familiar!).

This is where KISS come into it, with help from KISSOnline, Eric Singer was informed about Luke and provided him with several signed photos and some signed drum sticks. I am always amazed at how KISS treat their fans and this was no exception.

4-YEAR-OLD'S -THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY
KOL LETTERS
KISS,

Over the weekend, my daughter Taylor celebrated her fourth birthday with a KISS themed birthday party! My wife Susie, other daughter Dani and I all wore our KISS shirts. Taylor picked out a picture she wanted of you on her cake. We colored balloons with sharpies to resemble your faces. Taylor, who has been a member of the KISS ARMY for two years now, was christened into the ARMY November 7th, 2009 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN.

There is, never was and never will be anything or anybody like KISS!

IO9.COM
KISS vs. Doctor Doom is the best and/or worst comic you'll read today

By Cyriaque Lamar

In 1977, famed make-up rockers KISS teamed up with Marvel Comics to produce KISS, the only comic book in history to feature Paul Stanley psychoanalyzing Dr. Doom. Also, the comic was printed in the band's blood. Literacy, ahoy!

Remember the arpeggios of excitement that zipped up your spine the first time you read Watchmen? Chances are you won't experience that sensation when you peruse 1977's KISS #1. Sure, if you're a card-carrying member of the KISS army (like Condoleezza Rice), you'll probably get an acute case of Jerusalem Syndrome, but if you only know the chorus to "Rock and Roll All Nite," you'll feel like you freebased a bag of confectionary sugar. Why? The comic is perhaps one of the most overweeningly sincere superhero origin stories you'll ever read.

The band does not build a golem made of greased groupies, and nobody has sex with a radioactive spider. No love guns are fired, and Gene Simmons' primary character arc is complaining about how his dad wants him to become an accountant. The comic's willingness to treat the band as clean-cut superheroes is so profoundly not rock-and-roll that - when juxtaposed next to modern comics' laughable attempts to be rock-and-roll - the comic becomes rock-and-roll. Rock and roll is inherently iconoclastic, and by eschewing any semblance or claims to rock, the comic is rock and roll.
