KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
KISS really is everywhere! At this weekend's "Warrior Dash" in Jellystone National Park (PA), a mud-filled 3.1 mile marathon/obstacle course/festival, these four lads dressed as KISS in full makeup and costume and looked great! I took this photo after they finished the race along with my brother Pat in the middle.

What an awesome day!

HOMECOMING FLOAT
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
KISS IS EVERYWHERE!

Hello KISS,

My husband, Rob, is I think the biggest KISS fan. His "man cave" is filled with KISS items and he even has the KISS shower curtain in his bathroom. He says his next purchase will be the ceramic tiles. He thought I should write to you about the Leslie High School Homecoming in Michigan.

On October 8, 2010 Leslie had their homecoming. My nephew, Austin Rhoades, is a Junior this year and the Junior float was in honor of KISS. Austin is also a KISS fan and was so excited that he was going to be dressed up as Gene. That dream was not fulfilled though, since he was named the Junior Class Prince. Instead of riding the float, he had to ride in a Mustang Convertible. But he was still thrilled that his Junior Class was honoring KISS, and the float won the competition!

My husband, Rob, also informed me that KISS was at the Cadillac Homecoming 35 years ago almost to the day. He thought that was very cool. Too bad we couldn't have had you perform like you did years ago. Although, when you were playing at Cobo Hall for the last time we were able to take our two nephews, Austin & Matthew, and our niece, Jade, to see you. They were all excited and we were very thankful to be able to take them.

HOTTEST SHOW..HOTTEST GUITARIST TOO!
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
Hi Tommy,

My name is Valeria and I'm a fan from Monterrey, Mexico. I went to the concert and I loved it! I went dressed up as you, since you're my favorite member of the band. This is the third time I go to a KISS concert dressed up as you and I'm always proud of that, since, from my point of view, you are the best guitarist that has ever been in KISS. I was proudly saying 'I'm dressed up as Tommy Thayer.'

I don't know if you remember, but on August 14th, 2004, while you were playing a solo, my dad got me in his arms and you were playing less than a meter away from me, looking directly to me. Then, you stopped playing in the middle of the solo, and you gave my dad your guitar pick, since I couldn't reach your hand (I was only 8 years old). Those two 2004 concerts here in Monterrey were in fact my first concerts ever, that's why KISS has a special place in my heart, but I can remember just a few things of the concerts, especially the thing with your guitar pick.

Now I'm 15, you're still my crush, and luckily, I remember all the concert this time. In fact, I spent a lot of time learning the song 'Shock Me' just to feel happy of being able to sing it complete at the concert, and I did. It was seriously the best concert of my entire life. I love you, and thanks for inspiring me to play the guitar!

Greetings from your #1 fan in Monterrey, Mexico

P.S. that's a picture from the concert last week. My mom made the costume :)

SCHOOL PRIDE WITH MAKEUP
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
Dear KISS,

I'm a senior at Chicago's Lane Tech High School. Last week we had our school pride day. Our school colors are myrtle and gold, so I decided to paint my face with Gene Simmons' make up in those colors! I got many stares on the bus to school and many compliments!

It was well worth it! Just thought I'd share.

Love ya guys.

MINOT DAILY NEWS
$30,000 from Minot & Wyo. KISS concerts goes to troops

By ELOISE OGDEN, Regional Editor

When the rock band KISS performed at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot July 24, $1 of every ticket sold for the concert was donated to the CSRA Wounded Warrior Care Project.

Laurie Ott, executive director of the CSRA Wounded Warrior Care Project, has informed The Minot Daily News the Augusta, Ga.-based project has received a total of $30,366 for the Minot show and the KISS tour's kick-off concert held July 23 at Cheyenne Frontier Days in Cheyenne, Wyo. Minot was the second show of the group's Hottest Show on Earth tour.

"We are so grateful to KISS and their Minot and Cheyenne fans for remembering our troops, and supporting them," Ott said.

"As Paul Stanley (KISS lead singer) has pointed out, a day shouldn't go by when we don't remember what our troops and their families have given up for us, and we need to do all we can to help them. The CSRA Wounded Warrior Care Project is dedicated to ensuring those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan are not only remembered, but also that they get coordinated care, family reintegration skills and the training and education that lead to employment when they come home. Our troops deserve nothing less," she said.

A FROM THE US AIR FORCE
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
Here is a picture of a student of mine while we were out in the field training for combat operations. I am a tech school instructor for the US Air Force, Security Forces. I train the students to become cops and combat ready troops. Basically we are the infantry of the US Air Force.

I recently attended the show in San Antonio, TX and was fortunate enough to participate in the meet and greet experience. The students knew how much I love KISS and thought it would be cool to camouflage their faces like Paul on their last day of training.

KISS is not only an awesome band but an inspiration while I was deployed for a year in Iraq. I listened to KISS daily to help deal with the feeling of being homesick and also dealing with stressful situations. So I constantly remind my students that deploy overseas to ensure that they take a piece of home with them to help keep them sane during those long months in the desert.

Again thanks for everything, especially the donations made to the Wounded Warrior Project, truly amazing!

Keep rocking!

Corey Morris
