KIDS CANCER GOOD-BYE
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
Dear KISS: Just wanted to let you know about a great group of students who decided to paint their faces like your great group in order to raise funds and awareness for cancer.

In Canada, the schools take one day a year to have a walk in memory of Terry Fox - a great Canadian who tried to walk across Canada to raise funds and awareness about cancer. The Grade Four students from Eric G. Lambert School in Churchill Falls, Labrador created their own banner and decided to paint their faces to really get into the spirit. Hope you like the shot.

MENTIONED ON DEAL OR NO DEAL
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
I was watching Deal or No Deal late last night.

Howie Mandel asked the man who was the contestant, "What will do you with the million dollars if you win it?" He said, "Well, I'm turning 50 this year, and as a gift to myself, I want to throw a big party and hire KISS to play for my birthday!"

His wife and daughters all stood there shaking their heads to say yes, that's exactly what he wants.

The contestant went home with about $9,000. Howie told him for that, he could probably find some neighbors to put makeup on and sing for him..!

Totally caught me by surprise because I didn't this guy would be into KISS. Pretty funny!

WESTERN AUSTRALIA TODAY
Editor by day... "Paul Stanley" by night

By Daile Pepper

By day he cracks the whip as a team of journalists produce the city's biggest free entertainment newspaper, Xpress.

By night - on occasion - he throws on a wig, five inch heels, masses of make-up and a body-hugging suit and hits the stage.

Bob Gordon, the editor of Xpress Magazine, fronts KISS tribute band KISStake.

Hidden under the outfit made famous by Paul Stanley, Gordon has played in this fun band with various West Australian musicians from bands including End of Fashion for years.

They let loose and put on a big show, all under the cover of costume. It allows Gordon to take on the persona of a mega rock star and let loose.

"It's hard to be shy when you put all that on," he says.

IS EVERYWHERE... ON HALLOWEEN!
DENVER POST
By Penny Parker

If you're flying on Southwest Airlines today, don't be spooked if you see Ben Franklin, the Statue of Liberty, Larry Bird or Julia Child along for the ride.

Southwest chief executive Gary Kelly is known to surprise passengers and employees with a costume every Halloween, and he practically makes the occasion a company holiday.

In past years, Kelly has masqueraded as Gene Simmons of the rock band Kiss.

THE TENNESSEAN
By MITCHELL KLINE

The flames, lights and fog machine were installed this week, helping to make a home on Franklin's West Main Street look like a stage for one of rock's most sensational acts: KISS.

Every Halloween since 2001, Jondie and Rebecca Davis have decorated their house with a theme and invited friends to join them. West Main Street, with its large, historic and gothic-looking homes, has become a popular place for trick-or-treaters. Rebecca Davis said more than 1,800 kids came to their house for candy last year. She expects about 2,000 Saturday.

"It's become kind of bigger than life," she said. "Kids come back every year and say they remember what we did the year before. It's become a lot of fun for us."

Past themes have included Sleeping Beauty, vampires, pirates and the Addams Family. Jondie Davis said he's been a fan of KISS since 1977, when he was 9. He said his friend John Pavlovsky suggested last Halloween that they all dress as members of the rock band and put on a real show.

Coincidentally, the real band put on a show in Nashville this week, making the theme extra-topical.

MY TRIBUTE HARLEY DAVIDSON
KISSONLINE FAN LETTER
KISS,

Some months ago, I believe that I may have sent you some photos of a year long project, the KISS Tribute Harley Davidson. The final completion was done two weeks before Sonic Boom came out (what a GREAT CD).

I took the bike to a bike show in Northern California, and it created quite a stir and KISS fans were thrilled to see it, to take pictures of it, and to stand around talking about the band, the tour and the new music. I will be taking it, weather permitting, to Vallejo Ca for a Halloween party at the Harley Dealership, my girlfriend putting on the Cat makeup like she did for a concert in August last year.

In brief, I got the idea when I saw on KOL the Australian bike and thought that we should have one on this side of the pond. After considerable thought, going through design ideas, I came up with the design idea and its proved to be a winner with the fans.

The 'real flames' represent the fire and flames at every concert; the front wheel is a Thunderstar, for the God of Thunder and the Star Child; the black paint is as dark as space for the Spaceman, and all extras have been removed, making it quick as a cat, for the CatMan. The KISS Army logo is on the front fender leading the way, as the fans have done from the beginning; and the license plate says ALIVE35, for the continuing tour. I have tickets for Sacramento and Oakland.

Its merely for my own personal pleasure, and to show it to people who love the band. If the bike show was any indication, wherever I take this, with KISS EVERYWHERE it seems now, it will be photographed and enjoyed by all.

Regards,

Gary Greenough
