Send A Letter To KISS

I'm a long time KISS fan who had a little money and a little time this summer to try my experiment. I am a novice photographer who bought a new basic $80.00 digital camera (at the same place you can buy SONIC BOOM). I bought my tickets through various brokers, agents and online sellers. I wanted to know what a novice photographer with a cheap camera could do. My only advantage was having been a KISS fan for so long I would know when and where to point the camera. My camera would only take a picture every 5 or 6 seconds, it seemed. Probably more like 3 or 4 seconds in reality. With this I lead you to "Jackpot". If you point your camera at Eric and his drum kit during his solo after "Shock Me" and just keep pushing the shutter button you will get live action shots. Most of them will be blurry. Since the stage lighting in rapidly changing, most of them will be spoiled with lighting. If you are lucky you will get one like this. After looking through the results of this experiment my literal reaction to seeing this picture was, "Jackpot".

Most of the time Eric Singer is hiding behind his drum kit. Every now and then he will pop out, like a groundhog, and hold a pose for you to photograph. This is the classic rock drummer pose. This pic was taken after his drum solo (after "Shock Me") in Camden, NJ (Philadelphia) on August 6, 2010.

We are getting married on February 19, 2011 and we have chosen your song Forever as our first dance song. We have our fingers crossed that you will sing this song at Tinley Park. Kiss, Just a quick note to let you know how excited we are to be coming to see your tour in Toronto on September 10. My husband has been a huge fan since before you were Kiss! He has all your old albums from when he was young and now has all your new ones and your dvd's. He lost his job a year ago and has been unable to find work since, we live in a small town and the economy is especially bad. We don't feel we can leave right now because both his parents are ill. I saved every penny I could in order to get tickets for him for our anniversary. He was so thrilled he cried, he has always wanted to see you live but has never been able to afford too. We have friends that live in Toronto so we just needed to get together enough gas money to drive out. I just wanted to thank you for the joy you have given so many people with your music including my husband! We can't wait to see you in Toronto. Maybe someday we will get to thank you in person but until then I will thank you from the bottom of my heart this way.

Friday night, you KISS, were a milestone in my young son's life. I took my 3 year old to your concert in Holmdel, NJ and he loved it! His first rock concert and I am so glad it was KISS! Being an outdoor venue, we had blankets, snacks, toys and books, but it was the concert itself that held his attention. Unfortunately, he fell asleep about 3/4 of the way through and missed his favorite song, Rock n Roll All Night, which was the last song but he's still talking about it! Thank you KISS for making another great family memory!

Gentleman (and Gene): Naah just kidding. Hey, my friend and I have been huge fans since we were ten years old. We are now in our forties and FINALLY got front row center seats to see you guys. Our lives have had many ups and downs - she's just coming through cancer treatments, and my husband decided he'd prefer someone else after our second daughter was born... Your music has been the "soundtrack" of our lives. We were so blessed to be able to finally get front row seats, and we just had such a blast! We danced, we blew kisses at you guys, we sang along - it was like we were teenagers again! It was great. You guys are the consummate professionals, and after seeing you guys countless times - we STILL can't wait to see you again! LOVED the patriotic theme with the pledge and the donation too. I went to the show at the Indiana State Fair. It was my first KISS concert and it was the best night of my life. I went expecting a great show, and you guys blew me away. Thanks for the music and everything you do. And i think it is awesome what you are doing for our troops. I hope to see you live again very soon. The name " the hottest show on earth" is an understatement!

I just saw the YouTube video of Lady Gaga giving an over 3 minute speech @ her Tacoma concert, on how cool KISS were to her when she met them in NJ. You really need to hear her speech! Paul Stanley has been the biggest influence and inspiration in all aspects of my life for my entire existence. Gene has been my inspiration in my career. I am also a huge Lady Gaga fan. My nephew turned me on to her. I love all her music, work, and dedication. I truely believe that she and KISS are cut from the same cloth. KISS and Lady Gaga are the ONLY artists out there today, that understand what true music, entertainment, and art is. KISS & GAGA give 1001% to their fans every single night, and put on one helluva show while doing it. And THANK GOD FOR YOU BOTH. I am going to the 9/3/10 Chicago KISS show with my family, and my brother and 14 year old nephew are taking a 10 hour drive to Chicago, to see KISS on 9/3/10. We are also attending the Lady Gaga show in Milwaukee on the day before, 9/2/10. This is a ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY for us, and I am making it a personal KISS/GAGA festival for my family, to make it a weekend that we will never forget, and always share an amazing bonding memory together. I'd hate to start a rumor, but what are the chances Lady Gaga might join KISS on stage in Chicago for a song? I know she has 9/3/10 off, and could attend the Chicago show. Chicago is still spinning in Gaga fever since her Chicago Lollapalooza show. The page frontpage headline in the newspapers the next day was "Gagapalooza". This would be EPIC for us. ***WORLDS WOULD COLLIDE*** That would be a DREAM COME TRUE for my nephew, me, & my whole family. It would be a dream come true!!! Hello, my name is Juliah DiStefano and two good friends of mine (Roberto and Lisa Spada) have a one year old son named Matteo. Being big KISS fans, as are all of our big group of friends, Roberto and Lisa wanted to ensure that their son Matteo got to know the greatest band in the world...KISS of course! So when Matteo was only seven months old, they taught him how to impersonate Gene Simmons's signature tongue. This little guy just turned one year old, and he can perfectly execute the impersonation with just a simple "Matteo, do Gene Simmons!" We were able to capture Matteo in all his Gene Simmons glory on video, and I, as well as Matteo's family and friends would love it if KISS some how, some way got to see Matteo and the video of his impersonation. Hi guys I have see you in Quebec city 2009 and i have really like the sow. I have 12 years old and i'm already a fan of Kiss. But I have a request for you. I know of Quebec is not a big city but please go back someday before the end of your career. And I'm not the only one who wants it. What an awesome show. You guys just keep getting better each time I see you. This is my thrid KISS concert and it won't be my last. It is great what you guys are doing for our troops fighting overseas. It was awesome when Paul had the audience say the pledge of allegiance for our men and women soldiers.
