It's the morning after the MSG KISS concert and I still feel decimated. Last night my dream of seeing KISS for the first time was fulfilled and what a night it was. From the opening, "You wanted the best. you got the best" to Genes blood spitting to Pauls flying directly over us during Love gun to the final encore song was packed full of KISS classics and memorable moments. Pauls voice was amazing after 35 years and still going strong! Tommy was blazing on guitar from his thunderous solos to literally bringing down the lights with his shooting guitar. Gene was on the prowl all night spitting blood and breathing fire all the while wagging his infamous tongue at the crowd. It was all great and packed full of memories we will cherish forever. Thank you KISS for rocking MSG and showing everyone that KISS always has and will forever be THE HOTTEST BAND IN THE WORLD!

AMAZING album! I have every song/album you have ever released, and by far "Sonic Boom" has the most consistently AWESOME songs -- usually there are at least a few songs (on every album I've ever owned) which I skip routinely, but there wasn't a single song I didn't like (a lot!) on this one!!!! Your prior albums which came close (IMHO) are "KISS", "Dressed to Kill", "Destroyer", and (strangely enough, b/c I know you weren't thrilled with it), "Crazy Nights" (the title track and "Turn on the Night" are 2 of my favorites of all your songs, although a list of all the faves would probably take pages ...).
I will be participating in the "Meet and Greet" in St. Pete, FL, on Oct 21 and I can't WAIT to meet you all! This will be my first KISS concert (even though I'm 42 and have been a fan for a long time); I'm so glad I could afford to get this opportunity of a lifetime ... I like and/or love almost all the songs on your set list, although I REALLY wish you'd be able to play "Heaven's on Fire" for that concert; I've always loved that song (and I really enjoyed your re-recorded version on the "Klassics" CD) -- please please PLEASE???. Thanks, by the way, for making that CD available; it's also a GREAT recording, and it will be interesting to compare the old and new recordings and see if I can spot the differences. I'm looking forward to watching the DVD too. I will DEFINITELY be recommending the "Sonic Boom" set to all my friends!
Thanks for keeping the KISS music alive; I hope the band will go on forever! See you in about 10 days -- BTW, I'll be the one in the 5" black platform knee length boots (like no other fan will be dressed like that - LOL!). The "unique" part of my look will be "street clothes" dressed up with rhinestone KISS logos, front and back, which I personally spent hours beading -- and it was ABSOLUTELY worth it, since I LOVE KISS!!!!!! (I'm bringing a Sharpie marker and I hope you will autograph the shirt to make it even more unique!)

My first concert was at 10 yrs old at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis in 1979. I can't really imagine my life without witnessing the evolution that this KISS thing is. Through the good,the bad and the ugly(and Peter's solo album) you bastards have always been a constant in my life. Thank you for your will,your persevearance,and dedication that has kept you around for this crazy ride.SONIC BOOM wow! What can I say, SONIC BOOM is one TOP NOTCH album.
Come on guys how about a uk tour in 2010. I made my daughter, Gemma, a promise that I would take her to at leat one gig every year. So far that promise has been kept and she has seen AC/DC, Metallica, The Foo Fighters, Thunder, The Darkness and Motley Crue (plus supports acts). Some kracking bands there, not bad for a lass who is 11 years old. It would be so cool if you guys were the band for 2010, I know it would be tough but to do but I am sure you would put on a show that would at least match what she has already seen.

Paul,Gene,Tommy And Eric. you have no idea what it honor it has been for me to have seen kiss in madison square garden. it was my third show in 9 years. my first one dating back to june 3rd 2000. it would start my love for rock music as well as my die hard obsession with kiss..about a year later i had been hit by a car and i was really depressed. untill june 27th 2001 when i met a young women by the name of femke spelt..she helped me recover from my wounds and garner my intrest for music and KISS, to this day KISS And Ms. Spelt Have kept me alive from all the troubling things that have happened in my life, from my mother passing to my grandfather dying in my arms..KISS has always help me stay positive and stay strong and for that i thank you from the bottom of my heart. i want to be there if you are inducted into the hall of fame..that would complete my my own KISSTORIC journey that was 9 years in the making..YOUR THE BEST ROCK BAND ILL EVER CONSIDER #1..THERE IS NO OTHER BAND WHO DOES THE THINGS YOU DO
