The 18th hole requires you to make a forceful putt along Gene Simmons' outstretched tongue.

Well, of course it does. What else would you expect at a miniature golf course inspired by KISS, the iconic rock band that introduced fire-breathing, fake blood and the power of a few good chords to generations of teenagers?

On Thursday, the already ubiquitous power quartet expanded their global reach solidly into Las Vegas with the opening of KISS By Monster Mini Golf, an indoor amusement attraction at 4501 Paradise Road in Las Vegas.

In addition to an 18-hole miniature golf course whose design elements include laser effects, KISS members' oversized heads spouting from equipment crates like creepy jack-in-the-boxes and black lighting that makes everything glow like the '70s never ended, the complex offers arcade games (including the classic KISS pinball machine), event rooms, a KISS gift shop, the "Rock 'n Roll All Nite" Cafe and the "Hotter than Hell" wedding chapel.

We were so happy to see all our friends from Hello Kitty who flew in from Japan for the opening!

This year marks the launch of Hello Kitty KISS: two pop culture icons colliding to form an exciting global partnership! KISS and Sanrio have come together for a cool and kitschy alliance hitting the market in 2012.

It’s just an ordinary day in the always unique and exciting Las Vegas: I might play 18 holes on a miniature golf course with Gene Simmons or get married in the Hotter Than Hell wedding chapel asking Paul Stanley to be my best man. It’s not a pipe dream because, as of tonight, you can, too.

Legendary rockers KISS are unveiling their new indoor, glow-in-the-dark KISS by Monster Mini Golf opposite the Hard Rock Hotel that includes a rock and roll all-night snack bar, a gift shop, a private VIP room and a KISS Gallery.

Gene, Paul, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer will join owners Cristina and Patrick Vitagliano for the slashing of the ceremonial ribbon and host the first tour. eBay is even in on the shenanigans with its winning couple who wanted to be the first to get married in the wedding chapel complete with Mr. Speed from Ohio, named the world’s best KISS tribute band.

Forget about a red carpet: This one’s black! Rick Harrison from “Pawn Stars,” the gorgeous topless beauties from “Fantasy” at the Luxor and “Crazy Horse Paris” at MGM Grand, “The Bachelor” star Jake Pavelka and his Chippendales hunks (Jake is serving as guest host at the Rio headliner show through April 1), the rival Thunder From Down Under beefcakes, Joey Fatone and Anthony Cools are scheduled to rock the carpet. Also expect to see the mini versions of KISS with Lady Demon escorted by Lowercase G.

Legendary KISS® Band Members to Inaugurate First-of-its-kind Property at Opening Event in Las Vegas today

KISS® By Monster Mini Golf®, a unique rock ‘n roll-themed amusement attraction based around the legendary band KISS® is set to open on Thursday, March 15 with co- founders members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, as well as band members Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer in attendance. As part of the celebration, Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons will slash through the ceremonial ribbon with their guitars and walk the “Black Carpet” with other notable guests.

On this day in KISStory - March 15, 1976, KISS released Destroyer, their fifth album. The album was certified gold by the RIAA on April 22 and platinum on November 11, 1976.

KISS to open putt-putt golf, wedding chapel in Vegas

Are you ready to rock n' roll all night, and putt-putt every day? Or is that the other way around? In any case, Gene Simmons and his pals in KISS are ready to cut the ribbon on their own mini-golf course in Las Vegas.

The "KISS By Monster Mini Golf Site" -- featuring glow-in-dark holes, an arcade and WEDDING CHAPEL!?! -- opens this Thursday with a huge VIP event featuring band members walking on a "black carpet" instead of red carpet. Oh, and the first wedding at the "Hotter Than Hell Wedding Chapel" (yes, really) will be officiated by a mini Gene Simmons. Because, obviously, nothing does 'til death do we part like a 3-foot, blood-spitting man dressed as a dragon.

The attraction is next door to the Hard Rock Casino and Hotel.
