On May 3rd, 2002 KISS appeared on the nationally televised prime-time Dick Clark's American Bandstand 50th Anniversary Show. While the show was broadcast on TV four years ago today, KISS (Paul, Gene, Eric and Tommy)actually taped their performance of "Detroit Rock City", April 19th, 2002, at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in California. On the anniversary special, Clark presented classic moments from the past, as well as performances by superstar musical attractions spanning the past five decades, including Cher, Alanis Morissette, Stevie Wonder and KISS.
