THIS DAY IN KISSTORY 1974

KISS rocked Alaska for the first time ever!

This day in KISSTORY - June 2, 1974 - We played Anchorage, Alaska on our first tour in support of the album, KISS.

We performed with Savoy Brown at the Sundowner Drive-In Theatre. This was our only concert in Alaska until we returned over twenty five years later on January 3, 2000.

Paul recalls the visit to Alaska:

"It was surreal to get to Alaska expecting blizzards and polar bears, only to find that with heaters near our boots all over the stage, we would be playing outside! Every time we went too close to the heaters, our guitars went completely out of tune! It was cold out there!

MEMORIAL DAY: A TIME TO PAY TRIBUTE

KISS remembers and honors all the brave soldiers lost in all wars.

All Americans need to remember that the day we see as a holiday is actually a time to pay tribute to all the brave members of our Armed Forces who paid the ultimate sacrifice on our behalf.
