On this day in KISSTORY - June 15, 1979, KISS opened their DYNASTY Tour at the Lakeland Civic Center in Lakeland, Florida.
KISS performed over 75 shows in the US and Canada. Opening acts including Cheap Trick, John Cougar, Loverboy and Judas Priest. The tour, which ended December 16th in Toledo, Ohio, was also Peter Criss' final tour with KISS until the REUNION Tour in 1996.
