The bands are hiring vets as part of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Capital Ones Hiring 500,000 Heroes campaign.

It is our privilege to draw attention to the obligation we all have to the brave men and women who volunteer to risk their own lives to protect the liberties and freedom that we all take for granted, Paul Stanley, the lead vocalist of KISS, told Today. We should all jump at any opportunity to provide any assistance needed by our warriors. Heroes deserve jobs!

Applicants do not need to have any prior music or road crew experience, though according to the job description, professionals with lighting, carpentry, stage management, production and crew experience are encouraged to apply.

Other requirements include being able to take direction and work as a team player, and the ability to work extremely long hours with multiple show days in a row.

KISS conducted a similar search last year for a veteran roadie, and hired veteranand huge KISS fanPaul Jordan, who said he loved every minute of the experience.

I know now that life exists after military service, Jordan told Today at the end of the tour. You just have to find something youre passionate about and go get it. There is a world of opportunity.
